Skills

Overview

Skills are abilities that can be learnt by a sapien. Skills are required to perform their related actions, and they can be learnt from other sapiens or by investigating a specific object. Some skills cannot be performed by sapiens which are unable to perform heavy tasks (e.g. elderly sapiens).

Butchery

Butchery includes the ability to harvest meat from the carcass of a dead animal.

UNLOCK: Requires #Rock Knapping, then order for a sapien to butcher a dead animal.

Basic Cooking

Basic Cooking includes the ability to cook meat to provide more nutritional value.

UNLOCK: Requires #Fire Lighting, then investigate any meat, pumpkin or beetroot.

UNLOCK: Requires #Pottery & #Grinding, then investigate Bread Dough or Flour

Tree Felling

Tree Felling includes the process of chopping down trees.

UNLOCK: Requires #Rock Knapping and an axe, then just order for a tree to be cut down.

Wood Working

Wood Working includes the crafting of things made out of branches and logs.

UNLOCK: Requires #Rock Knapping, then investigate a log.

Tool Assembly includes the crafting of more complex tools by combining multiple components.

Digging

Digging includes the clearing of soil, sands and clay.

UNLOCK: Requires #Rock Knapping and a shovel.

Mining

Mining includes the process of digging up valuable resources like rock.

UNLOCK: Requires #Tool Assembly, then order a sapien to go mining.

Planting

Planting includes the process of planting a seed or crow to harvest more.

UNLOCK: Requires #Digging, investigate a seed.

Threshing

Threshing includes the process of making grains ready to mill or cook.

UNLOCK: Requires #Pottery, investigate wheat.

Grinding

Griding includes the process of crushing grains to make food out of them.

Medicine

Craft and administer poultices and medicines to help the injured or sick.
