Sapien
A sapien is a human that lives in the game. These sapiens make up your tribe and do the work that the tribe needs.

Age
Each sapien has an age associated with it, representing its current stage of life. This can be viewed in the tribe window, listing the sapiens of the tribe, or by directly clicking on the sapien. There are 4 primary stages of life of a sapien.

Baby
For a short time after birth, a sapien will be carried by its mother, shown by the mother’s status of “carrying baby”, which prevents skills which require heavy lifting from being performed.
Child
After growing up from being a baby, a sapien will be independent, and a child, until age (Insert age here). Children are distinguishable from their small size, and they function mostly as an adult sapien, although they are unable to perform skills which require heavy lifting, and are unable to become pregnant or carry a baby.
Adult
During this phase of life, which makes up the majority of the lifespan of a sapien, a sapien can perform all tasks, provided it is not carrying a baby or pregnant, both of which prevent skills which require heavy lifting from being performed. It can also become pregnant and have children if it is female.
Elderly
Elderly sapiens (past the age of 60[please confirm]) will be unable to perform tasks which require heavy lifting, and cannot get pregnant or have children (please confirm). They will have gray hair, and require more rest, and get overworked and fatigued more easily.

Death
All sapiens die eventually. For a full list of details, see the page on death

Traits
All sapiens are born with traits that affect certain aspects of the game.
Gameplay is the specific way in which players interact with a game

When you start a new world, you are met with a user interface which allows you to customize your world. You are able to customize the world name and seed, along with the sea level, rainfall, temperature, continent size, mountain height, hills size and hills height. You are also able to select mods to use in this world.

Digging
You are able to dig to sea level in any location, but there is a limit to how steep slopes can be made. In order to dig deeper, you will need to have adjacent tiles steeper.

A world is the location that a Sapiens game takes place in. Every world consists of a unique planet larger than Earth, generated by a seed.

<u>Generation</u>
When a player presses the "Create world" button on the main menu, They are shown a planet with a panel on the left showing it's seed and the options that were used to create it. By default, all sliders will be in the middle. The options given when creating a world are "World Name, Seed, Sea Level, Rainfall, Temperature, Continent Size, Mountain Height, Hills Size" and "Hills Height."

World Name
World names are pseudorandomly generated using a short list of Toki Pona nouns and adjectives to create a name. Often these names do not make that much sense when translated to English.

<u>Trivia</u>
* Every world in the game has a surface area of 884,279,719km2 according to a graphic posted by Dave Frampton, the developer. This is 57.6% larger than the surface area of Earth in real life.
* In colder environments like the north pole, Sapiens will wear coats to keep themselves warm.
* In hotter environments like the equator or desert, Sapiens are more likely to have a dark skin tone as they produce more melanin.
